"My name is Scott Taylor and I was working in the South Tidewater, Virginia region and we got a response from our absentee mailer - we mail that out once a month. This guy had actually received my probate mailer and he got our postcard mailer.
Then in July we got it under contract and held one of our trademark 11 day sales which is an open bid sale over one weekend. Found a retail buyer and got it funded. It took us a while with the credit market being what it is.

We ended up netting $15,000 on it and I think I was into it for a grand total of $500. $10 for my option fee and about $500 for promotion, mailing, signs, stuff like that."
